Why all day wedding coverage?

Some of the best moments extend beyond the time the guests are there. The early morning getting ready, the after party, the fast food run after the final exit, the hotel - all these things tell the story of your day and you should have a way to remember them.

One of the biggest benefits of all day coverage is that I never have to come up to you and tell you your time is up. Timelines always run late, and booking an hourly rate means the photographer might have to pick up and leave before all the important things are finished.

Having all day coverage also helps fill your wedding album from beginning to end in a story-like fashion, filling it with each moment of your day. 

Why do I need a wedding album?

I strongly believe in printed pictures. Social media and technology are always changing and there is no guarentee that the technology we have today will be there tomorrow. 

This will be something that you can pass down to your children and their children. It's something you can pull out in 50 years and know exactly where it is instead of searching for the pictures on outdated technology. 

You get all of your digital files, so why would you need something like an album printed by the photographer? Well, I honestly don't think that places like Shutterfly print the best albums to host such an important day. I have access to some of the top album companies in the world (ones that only proven professional photographers are accepted into), and these are the albums that are worthy to show off your day.

What are parent albums?

Parent albums are replicas of your album. Many couples opt for parent albums as a thank you to their parents. Want to see your mom cry happy tears? Get her a parent album :)

What is your photography style?

I love romantic, vibrant, timeless images. I try to photograph in a way that is creative and expressive. I think the things that make up a great wedding gallery are emotion, moments, and details. I want your wedding pictures to reflect how you saw your day. 

What is the benefit of having a 2nd photographer?

Having a 2nd photographer gets you the most out of your wedding photography. You get double angles and two different eyes on moments.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and I have my passport ready. I’m ready to go wherever your love story is taking you! My travel packages look slightly different, please reach out to me and we’ll find the right package for your destination wedding.

Can we share our engagement and wedding sessions on social media?

Yes, please! I just ask that credit be given, preferably back to my website. Referrals are how my business thrives, so when you share my website along with the images it makes it easier for people to find me and book me.

What is the benefit of an engagement session?

Engagement sessions have many benefits outside of the couple and photographer getting to know one another. 

Your engagement session lets you express yourselves as a couple, in the way you normally are, in the way you normally dress, at the places you normally go. They truly are a timeless representation of you as a couple.

You can also use your engagement session on your save the dates, invitations, wedding website, and social media. 

Do you and your significant other have a place outside of Colorado that is special to you? I will gladly travel out of state (or even country) for your engagement pictures.

Will you photograph my religious ceremony?

Absolutely.

I love experiencing new types of religions and religious ceremonies, and I will gladly photograph any religion. 

We will go over the special requirements for you religious ceremony in-depth before your wedding.

Will you photograph our same-sex wedding?

I would be honored to.

Do you use flash?

When it is permitted, yes. Some religious or indoor ceremonies do not permit flash, but I have the equipment to skillfully photograph dark ceremonies without flash.

Do you have back up equipment?

YES. I always carry back up cameras, extra lenses, flashes, batteries, memory cards, etc. 

Are you insured?

Yes, proof of insurance is sometimes required by venues, and I will produce proof of insurance at request.

Do we meet before the wedding?

I would love to meet over coffee, or brunch, or tacos - my treat! I love meeting with couples, and I am happy to meet with you before you book if you’d like to make sure we’re a perfect fit. Closer to the wedding we can meet in person or do a video chat to go over timeline and other details.
